In November 2015, Matthew and Cori Maple had an idea to help local veterans during the holiday season. They posted a few statuses and passed out flyers. With the help of friends, family, a few teachers from Snider H.S., a fellow veteran, and Texas Roadhouse, two truckloads of items were delivered to the Shepherd's House in Fort Wayne.  The number of people who were interested in helping local veterans was overwhelming.  It became obvious that this cause needed to continue and grow.  After discussions of doing an annual drive, Matt and Cori decided to create an organization that could help all year.  Together with Matt Cobb of Texas Roadhouse Clothes for Joes was born.  With the help of local businesses and organizations, we conduct fundraisers throughout the year.   We have permanent donation sites all year and we set up temporary drop of sites for clothing drives.  No veteran should go without essential needs.  Wether it's clothing, hygiene products, backpacks, coats or shoes, we accept it all.  It is our dream that all of our local Fort Wayne veterans have everything they need.   Let's come together and help make this dream a reality!  Please consider making a donation.  Click HERE to find the nearest Drop off location.
